I was diagnosed a Gastrinoma

It took me about two years to come back to myself after the accident. There was some very hard times but I fought and came around well, with some limitations to live with.

During the recovering period I had a bad time with my stomach. Always has giving me trouble, it runs in the family. I had a perforated ulcer before the accident and had surgery done to avoid further problems.

My stomach started to give me some troubles again after the accident and about three years after the accident the doctors in London started to suspect that I have a Zollinger-Ellison-Syndrome. ZES is a very rare type of disorder that creates tumors in the pancreas and duodenum, and basically gives you endless ulcers in the stomach. This ulcers don't respond to treatments.
The problem doctors have on diagnosing ZES, is that until the tumor gets into 1 cm in diameter it is almost impossible to diagnosed, there is only one way to find out before gets into that size, and that is by having Gastrin (Hormone) tests done. Then is when they suspect ZES.

Therefore the journey, my journey for a "cure" was long and painful. Also because it's such a rare condition doctors don't have much material available, although is changing. Some of the worse symptoms are: diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, abdominal pain and bleeding. Symptoms that
we've to learn to live with.

But it's lots of hope there for us guys.
